Data Retention Policy
We keep personal information only while we need it for the service, safety, a decision, or the law.
How long we keep each type
| Information | Usual limit |
| Application, review, and interview records used for a decision | 15 months after the last decision. We keep them for at least 12 months after a decision that directly affects you. |
| Active account, profile, and settings | While your account is active, then up to 30 days after an eligible closure request. |
| Ordinary introductions, messages, clarity answers, and reflections | Up to 90 days after the introduction closes. |
| Date Safety Plan | Up to 30 days after the introduction closes. |
| Reports, blocks, and moderation records | Up to 24 months after the case or appeal closes. |
| Security events, access records, and deletion receipts | Up to 24 months. |
| Hashed rate-limit counters | Up to 24 hours after the limit window resets. |
When we may keep less or more
We may delete information sooner when you make an eligible request. We may keep the smallest needed record longer during a safety case, appeal, fraud review, or legal hold. We will explain a limit when we can.
Backups and service providers
Humanly Mutual uses Supabase for account and product data and Vercel to run the app. Backup copies may remain for a limited recovery period before they expire. Access is limited to people and systems that need it.
What we do not keep at launch
We do not collect government ID images, payment data, precise live location, address-book contacts, ad-tracking IDs, or biometric templates. We do not keep member answers for model training.
Ask about your data
To ask for access, correction, export, or deletion, use the controls in your account or email team@humanlymutual.com.
