Law Enforcement Request Policy

Our rules

• Check the identity and authority of the person making the request.
• Check the legal basis, scope, date range, and people named.
• Reject or narrow requests that are invalid, too broad, or unclear.
• Share only the information that the valid request requires.
• Keep a private record of the request and response.

Member notice

We will tell the affected member before disclosure when the law allows it. We may delay notice when a valid order forbids it or when notice would create a serious safety risk.

Emergency requests

Humanly Mutual is not an emergency service. We may disclose limited information when the law permits it and there is a documented, urgent risk of serious harm. Call 911 for an immediate emergency.
